Musings on a balloon plant
Normal people, upon receiving a beautiful new pitcher courtesy of their awesome mom (thanks MAMA!), would probably fill it with garden roses, brew a cup of tea, and call it a day. I would have done the same*, had I not discovered these at the market. They stopped me dead in my tracks. So here’s what happened instead:
* Full disclosure: when I say tea, I definitely mean a glass of wine.

Creations for a cause
Today I want to share some flowers with you that I made for an event hosted by the LA Network of Human Rights Watch last week. It was at the awesome Breezeway at the Barker Block building in Downtown. Such a gorgeous space! So here’s what I came up with (with help from Miss N once again! Thank you!):
