Winter

Happy 2012 to you all!! I didn’t want to write a post about how grateful I am for this past year and all the amazing new experiences it has given me…but here we are. Here’s a look at what I’ve been keeping busy with:

To be completely honest, the scissors were holding down the glue on this corsage, and i placed the ranunculus on top to see what it would ultimately look like. And then I ended up liking the end result. (Don’t worry, the scissors were removed before the corsage was given to the mother of the bride).

A shot of the bouquet. Can’t wait for the professional shots from this one!!

One of the arrangements from the same wonderful wedding I was lucky enough to work on. I am completely in love with this couple and their free and relaxed approach to their big day. Congrats you two!!!

And finally, here’s a big ole arrangement from a little while back. Snatched the last of the NZ tree peonies for this one…Can’t get enough of these big mamas.

Wishing you all a wonderful and flower-filled new year!!!

    Beautiful, grrl!
*I kind of wish you had given the flowers with the scissors– as a totally not so subtle gesture from the groom; I would have laughed (but then again, I’m going to be a kick ass mother of the bride someday!)
