The photos are in from the YEAH! Wedding from back in August, and they ROCK, as expected. The wedding was featured on Green Wedding Shoes (Part 1 and Part 2) and 100 Layer Cake (Part 1 and Part 2) today, so go on and take a peek!
This was such a magical day, and I am so lucky to have been able to work with the incredibly talented people who were involved! Of course Bash, Please and YEAH! Weddings knocked this one out of the park. And without further ado, here are a few of my favorite flower shots (by the awesome Max Wagner and Our Labor of Love):
The flowers were all shades of white with sky blue and green accents. Such a fun palette to work with! Constellations and the sky were part of the inspiration, and I really love how the thistle and cornflower resemble little stars. Creating these arrangements was such a blast for me.
Friends! So psyched to announce that Landish Studio is a committee member for the awesome Yeah! Wedding 2012 giveaway!!

I was so excited to work with Dominick’s awesome team again. I got a last minute call for a birthday party that was happening the very next day, and I love them so much that I hustled and made it work. Here’s a work shot (sorry, all iPhone only):
Here’s are the flowers all cozy on the beautiful patio:
And here’s a peak at the flowers leaving the restaurant (!!!):
See! Even the paparazzi can’t resist peonies! Oh man, only in LA!
I have finally returned! Sorry for my absence. The last few months have been full of adventure. But I am finally back where I belong, sharing my floral antics with you.
Here are pictures from one of my favorite weddings from back in December, with the loveliest bride and groom ever! The couple chose to have a City Hall ceremony (love!) followed by a reception at Mas Malo downtown (yum!). All photos are by the super talented Love Me Sailor team. So here goes.
The bouquet of sweet peas, anemones, ranunculus, wax flower, garden rose “Darcy”, and agonis:
Another shot of the bouquet. (How gorgeous is the dress???)
What a dapper groom! (with a ranunculus bout)
And check out the after party. Doesn’t it look like a blast?
A huge thank you to the lovely bride and groom! And thank you to Love Me Sailor for the gorgeous shots!
And that last one is one of the arrangements….sans paper whites, I now realize. D’oh.
Happy 2012 to you all!! I didn’t want to write a post about how grateful I am for this past year and all the amazing new experiences it has given me…but here we are. Here’s a look at what I’ve been keeping busy with:
To be completely honest, the scissors were holding down the glue on this corsage, and i placed the ranunculus on top to see what it would ultimately look like. And then I ended up liking the end result. (Don’t worry, the scissors were removed before the corsage was given to the mother of the bride).
A shot of the bouquet. Can’t wait for the professional shots from this one!!
One of the arrangements from the same wonderful wedding I was lucky enough to work on. I am completely in love with this couple and their free and relaxed approach to their big day. Congrats you two!!!
And finally, here’s a big ole arrangement from a little while back. Snatched the last of the NZ tree peonies for this one…Can’t get enough of these big mamas.
Wishing you all a wonderful and flower-filled new year!!!
I was lucky enough to work on a wedding at the beauiful Highland Springs Resort in Cherry Valley. The bride is a huge flower fan, and really knows her stuff! So the pressure was on…the rules were peaches and cream with some drama added in….Here are some detail shots I couldn’t help sharing:
The ceremony took place in a breathtaking olive grove, and that’s lavender growing in the background…can’t wait for the professional photos to arrive!!
One of the centerpieces…Can’t believe the Dahlias held out this long!! So happy they did. I’m also completely obsessed with the Amaryllis…that peach color is really a showstopper.
Les bouts…and a corsage waiting in the wings.
And a little detail arrangement from the sign in table…gotta love that mercury glass!
Congrats, congrats, congrats to Terry and Eugene to the beautiful couple!!
Here’s a peek at what I’ve been busy with…a gorgeous Malibu wedding!!! Purples and lavenders were on the menu, and such a fun palette to play with for me. Professional pics will be here before you know it, but for now I leave you with this setup shot:
It was such a beautiful day, and all went smoothly (phew!)! Congrats to the happy couple!
Picked up some phenomenal New Zealand Tree Peonies from the market…mind blowing.
